289 - 302 - 351W - Shorty Ford ​

This water pump is manufactured in California by a commercial American water pump manufacturer to the highest industry standards. It fits any 289, 302, or 351W Ford engine. It replaces Ford Racing pt# M8501-E351S shorty water pump sold to dealers only. The majority of street rod chassis were built for Chevy engines. The Ford engine is 1-1/2 inches longer. If you want to use a Ford in your Ford without major alterations to your beautiful street rod, you must use the shorty water pump. You can only use an electric fan, but you will have room. All our water pumps carry a one-year warranty against defects. Some will qualify for reasonable labor charges. All claims will need a parts inspection and written request. All our water pumps will have an "R" or "RRR' etched on inlet hose housing. The markings are visible when installed. This pump is standard rotation for V-belts only.  Serpentine applications are reverse rotation and do not apply.
